All member companies of Consulting Alliance International subscribe
to PRESTO as their common methodology, ensuring that all Alliance
members follow the same philosophy and approach. As a result, Alliance
companies act as a unit, exchanging resources, using each other’s
knowledge and templates and easing the burden of international projects.
PRESTO is designed to support all aspects of an IT solution
implementation. IT systems are designed to improve the way people
work. Documents are created, forwarded and processed electronically.
We view this network of people, documents and activities, called
workflow, as the central aspect of any IT project.
Next
to the workflow focus, PRESTO is designed to support the transition
of the organization and the business processes along with the implementation
of a new IT backbone. We firmly believe that enterprise software
implementations are foremost in business
improvement and change management projects and that the role of
IT is simply to support such change. We ensure that all three aspects
are taken care of and are integrated on all levels.
In order to achieve such integration PRESTO keeps change management,
system configuration and business process design together within
one team.
A group of experienced specialists in the clients industry and processes
from across all Consulting Alliance companies supports every single
project. Usually a director from a different Consulting Alliance
company will perform quality assurance in order to guarantee an
independent assessment .
Phases in PRESTO support the entire project cycle,
from the early preparation stages up to supporting the live system.
Quality will be constantly monitored (every dot in the diagram on
the left is a QA checkpoint).
