Hanover, 13.03.2006 – proALPHA Software AG, Weilerbach, had the upper hand in a direct competition against SAP All-in-One at Cebit 2006 exhibition in Hanover. During the Live-competition of the ERP vendors, proALPHA convinced the audience and succeeded in most categories. proALPHA especially scored with its Look-and-Feel, its Intercompany-Processes and the suitability for Mid-Size Enterprises. |

The „Formel iT“ event, organized by GPS Gesellschaft zur Prüfung von Software mbH (GPS) and Trovarit AG, allowed the audience to compare both solutions in real business scenarios during a Live-competition. The proALPHA ERP solution from proALPHA Software AG competed against mySAP Business Suite, presented by All for One GmbH.
During the "Formel iT" event both vendors presented their solutions in front of more than 100 spectators. The test-scenario was a complex intercompany-process, as it is nowadays common standard in larger Mid-Size enterprises. For both vendor it was challenging to master the detailed processes provided by GPS: from Customer Order to Production in foreign plant until intercompany consolidation within the holding company.
Background-Information to Formel iT: Objective of the ERP-Live-Competition is to enable Software users to discover the possibilities and State-of-the-Art of modern ERP solutions using realistic business processes.
